it's been a while since i've posted anything. my family ended the year on a few sad notes. we lost my grandfather, my father in law, an aunt and my best friend's grandmother in the span of one month. it was a very sad way to end the year, and it is still sad but the fog seems to be lifting. i feel so lucky to have known these people, felt their love and had the chance to learn from them. i am sad that my two year old son will probably not remember them and how much they loved him, especially his tata (grandfather) with whom he was the closest.
sigh.
life goes on right? right. all we can do is tell their stories and continue to make our own stories for others to tell about us.
